Proceed with Caution, Industrial Fashion Ahead!

As we cautiously veer into the left lane, lets take a moment to think. What has fashion come to? Utility wear is definitely going from hard at work to blazing the runway. Who would have thought road work inspired wear would continue to evolve as it has. I bought this Off-White belt in March of this year. I took me a while to figure out how I wanted to handle it so to speak. Jeans were an option, a pant suit, and of course leather, but I was trapped somewhere between faux fur and tulle. Mixing hard and soft intrigued my fashion curiosity, so I did it! Wide and fluffy tulle would swallow the belt. Pairing this BCBG skirt with this asymmetrical blazer from Boohoo was perfect for reconstructing a less poufy appeal, allowing my belt to share the attention. The blazer and tulle softened the potential dominance of the utility belt, while the utility belt added the perfect edge to what could have been an overall girly non sporty look. Dainty and rough are both hard at work in this outfit, do you agree? Although I’m not wearing faux fur I did enjoy the pony hair on my Shoes of Prey custom designs, they were the real hit! Do you see this pink pump? Honey Yes! You are #noprisonerofyourbody so walk the runway fiercely and fearlessly. See you next runway!

Style Tips

Don’t be afraid of the belt it can be worn with more than you think

You don’t have to wear the excess length hanging, feel free to wrap it (its super cute that way)

The belt is one size, it measures 200 cm
