Yes, you seen it a million times, but leave it to me I will have you thinking you have never seen it before! Once again, we have a another Christian Omeshun exclusive. Gosh, one thing I love most about this garment is how seasonal it is. The fabric is protective enough for a very bitter Winter and light enough for Spring. When I got the garment, I fell in love with the construct of it. The asymmetrical top is giving me mysterious and sexy. Arm out, peeka-booing the belly, and topped with a hint of back out, what else can a girl want to make her happy and set her free?! NOTHING! An asymmetrical cape…..REALLY! I must admit I felt I had the juice, whatever that might mean right now. I mean, I could not feel any more vampy than this. Christian Omeshun came through with the Vampire in Brooklyn fashion redo!
This outfit is work to play like 0 to 100. I know many of you are giving me the side eye like-HOW? Trust, I got you. True story: A beautiful plus size NYC Fashion Editor in Chief of Vogue magazine (yeah, I’m going there) walks in her office wearing this outfit styled JUST-LIKE-THIS. Towards the end of her day her girlfriends want to chill at Club 40/40. Considering she’s working overtime this Friday night, she won’t have time to drive home and get club snatched. This editor is not bothered, she simply removes her white high-low Liz Claiborne button down and proceeds to strutting! Before you know it, she’s wearing her 9-5 garment, but this night you’d swear you’ve never seen it before. See, I don’t want to be the one to say told ya so…
You are #noprisonerofyourbody so walk the runway fiercely and fearlessly. See you next runway!
This was another pleasure I had styling this garment. Most are wearing it as is, but not I said the blogger. Fashion is all about showing the versatility in any garment, I view it as “Fashion is a translation.” Apparently Christian Omeshun agrees because this is a three-piece garment. Go ahead and lavish yourself with this top, a classic pair of wide legged pant and a sassy high waist pencil skirt using code SOSHENELL for 15% off. You are #noprisonerofyourbody so walk the runway fiercely and fearlessly. See you next runway!

Tips:
Ladies its all about being able to transition seamlessly. Here are my must haves to switch up any look:
Basic button downs are a must. Don’t be afraid to pay for quality, as you will have them for a lifetime. Must have’s include black, white, stripe and your favorite color.
Black belts are never to be over looked! They come in handy more than you think. Be open to genuine leather as it has more durability. Belting options include; high waist, wrap around, basic loop belt, patterned belt (designs black on black), and lastly studded or embellished high waist.
Shoes are the finishing product, the frosting on your cake. A pump is more flexible that any shoe. Pump options include black, nude, print (floral, cheetah, etc), and your favorite color.
