Collaborating with JCPenney was a treat and having the opportunity to style Ashley Nell Tipton for Boutique+ was an even bigger treat. Shopping the collection I was so amazed with all the super cute pieces the collection had to offer, it gave me an immediate fashion adrenaline rush! As you know I pride myself on being the curvy blogger who actually style my garments to look different from the rest. Since Ashley’s pieces had me all in my zone I shied away from coupling pieces (pieces that had a match to them). I practically jumped out of my pumps when I spotted this freaking adorable fuschia pink lipstick printed top. I have to say I was all in my girlie girl feelings so I centered my styling approach around this piece. The femininity, the sheerness, the softness of this top needed an opposing comrade. So I picked up this cute “live on the edge” Moto jacket. The sheer tail continued to compliment the femininity of my top, but the faux leather gave it life! Who could avoid black denim jeans, I couldn’t. It added the perfect touch of street chic necessary for street slayage. You are #noprisonerofyourbody so walk the runway fiercely and fearlessly.
